Good to know, as I will be turning 20 in 13 days!
1. The world is trying to keep you stupid. From bank fees to interest rates to miracle diets, people who are not educated are easier to get money from and easier to lead. Educate yourself as much as possible for wealth, independence, and happiness.
2. Do not have faith in institutions to…

With the distance we both face,
We build a love we can’t erase,
WIth Ink filled cards, computer calls,
We find a way to break down walls ,
With plenty fish that fill the sea,
I’d swim back to find that he,
Was swimming near hooks and bait,
But never bit and chose to wait,
With the distance we both face,
Our hearts remain in the same place.

When in doubt about long distance relationships…
This is my life manifesto. Down the road it may need some editing, but this is it so far.

Life is the act of living. So, start living! BREATHE. Go outside and inhale a breath of fresh air. You can do anything! Stop trying to make everyone happy, you’ll never be able to. Be true to yourself. You will be judged by more people than you even realize. Don’t worry about it! Never stop hoping. Never stop dreaming. Never stop working to achieve all that you can. Set goals. Take risks. Break the rules! Regret nothing. Listen to the gut in your stomach. And follow your heart. Those gut feelings know more than that logistical head of yours. DO IT! Stop talking about it. Never make promises you don’t intend to keep. Stop trying. Start doing. Never try to control anything but yourself. You are responsible for your actions and your actions alone. Make life meaningful. Don’t do everything your parents tell you to do. Make decisions on your own. Let people give you advice. But, you determine if you use it. Know that it is perfectly ok to stop being friends with someone. Eliminate negativity. Go on adventures. If no one wants to go with you, go alone! Always tell the truth. Don’t keep secrets from the ones you love. Or the ones you don’t. Make lists. Cross things off those lists. It’s ok to cry. It’s not ok to feel sorry for yourself. Don’t let failure keep you from achieving your dreams. With that said, its ok to change your dream. Do things with love. Don’t question someone’s intentions unless they’ve given you a reason to do so. CREATE. Live in a foreign country. Live in a different part of your own country. Take pictures. Write things down. Let people know how you feel. Stand up for yourself. Be confident in who you are. If you ever feel like you don’t like the person you are, change. Be passionate in all that you do. If you are no longer passionate about something you are doing, stop doing it! Does it seem like you’re saying no too often? Then start saying yes. Let yourself be inspired. Have an open mind and an adaptable mindset. Be aware of perspective. It determines more than you think. Go outside. Stop watching so much television. Be productive. Do something you’ve never done before. Visit home. Tell the ones you love how much you love them. Everyday. Make sacrifices. Don’t go to sleep unhappy with anyone. Apologize when you’ve done something wrong. Forgive those who have wronged you. Take advantage of opportunities. Read constantly. When you think of someone, tell them. If something reminds you of someone else, tell them. Surround yourself with people who inspire you and lift you up. The people you spend time with are like an extension of yourself. Make sure those are the extensions you want to have. Put love above all else. Fall in love with as many things as possible. Educate yourself. If you don’t know something, look it up. LEARN. Enjoy the learning process. Listen to all sorts of music. Don’t get caught up in trends. In fact, don’t get caught up in anything. Money? Fuck money. Work because you want to achieve something. Make your work worthwhile. Go for a run! Eat fruits and vegetables. Make sure you get good sleep, but some nights; stay up! Be thankful. Say thank you. Smile. Smile again. If you’re feeling inspired and in the midst of creating something, stop for nothing. If someone wants to help you, let them. Make sure you help others too! Free yourself from doubt. Free yourself from worry. Free yourself from hatred. And laugh. Because there are few things better than laughing until you start crying, your stomach hurts, you’re letting out noises you’ve never heard before, and you just can’t stop.
Dear Sir:
I like words. I like fat buttery words, such as ooze, turpitude, glutinous, toady. I like solemn, angular, creaky words, such as straitlaced, cantankerous, pecunious, valedictory. I like spurious, black-is-white words, such as mortician, liquidate, tonsorial, demi-monde. I like suave “V” words, such as Svengali, svelte, bravura, verve. I like crunchy, brittle, crackly words, such as splinter, grapple, jostle, crusty. I like sullen, crabbed, scowling words, such as skulk, glower, scabby, churl. I like Oh-Heavens, my-gracious, land’s-sake words, such as tricksy, tucker, genteel, horrid. I like elegant, flowery words, such as estivate, peregrinate, elysium, halcyon. I like wormy, squirmy, mealy words, such as crawl, blubber, squeal, drip. I like sniggly, chuckling words, such as cowlick, gurgle, bubble and burp.
I like the word screenwriter better than copywriter, so I decided to quit my job in a New York advertising agency and try my luck in Hollywood, but before taking the plunge I went to Europe for a year of study, contemplation and horsing around.
I have just returned and I still like words.
May I have a few with you?

I live for good stories and the kind of moments you never forget. I love learning new things and meeting new people. I have a passion for traveling. And an obsession with inspirational quotes. Guys, I'm a sucker for khakis. Ah, and those backwards hats! Take the time to get to know me and I'll make sure you don't regret it :)
